MAKÜ's 2025 MEDEK accreditation success has been certified

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) achieved significant success in the 2025 MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association) accreditation results. Many programs affiliated with the Vocational Schools within the university received full accreditation for 4 years, while some programs earned the right to conditional accreditation for 2 years. The announced results once again demonstrated MAKÜ's emphasis on quality assurance in vocational and applied education.
Programs receiving 4-year accreditation
As a result of the evaluations conducted by MEDEK, the following programs were accredited for 4 years, certifying their educational quality:
- Bucak Emin Gülmez Technical Sciences Vocational School
Health Information Systems Technician - Bucak Hikmet Tolunay Vocational School
Public Relations and Promotion - Çavdır Vocational School
Elderly Care - Social Sciences Vocational School
Health Institutions Management - Technical Sciences Vocational School
Machinery
These programs fully met MEDEK standards in terms of educational infrastructure, academic staff adequacy, application opportunities, industry collaboration, and continuous improvement criteria.
Programs receiving 2-year conditional accreditation
Some programs earned the right to 2-year conditional accreditation as a result of the evaluations. In this context:
- Ağlasun Vocational School
Finance - Burdur Food Agriculture and Livestock Vocational School
Laboratory and Veterinary Health - Burdur Health Services Vocational School
Operating Room Services - Gölhisar Vocational School
Computer Programming
The path to full accreditation has been opened for these programs, provided they complete the necessary work in the identified areas for improvement.
